June 6, 2009

Prudence's birthday, almost, we haven't found the right card for her, and if we do, we  will not get it to her by Monday, June 8. Our best present will be the two quilt squares we have finished and they look great, I don't know how to add photos to my page yet but I am sure I can figure it out and show you our works of art.

I have really BIG news. Last evening our bestest, newest, GP in town eliminated my last, most excruciating pain yesterday. The drain was down to less that 30 ml a day, it was curled under my skin which really stung when anything went over it. Eileen told me to take 3 or 4 deep breaths, then let out a huge cough and that is when she would and did yank the tube out. Liquid (blood and lymph fluid) discharged a small amount. Now any absorption of the lymphatic fluid will have to be done by my body. I am sure it is up to the task.

I am using my right arm, I don't carry anything more than a few pounds, and have been given some gentle exercises for the arms and the rest of the stuff hanging around my ex-boobs. I am hoping to be rid of these caverns and little (ok, large) poofs of arm fat. I try to keep the really big space under my left arm very clean, I think it is deep enough for an insect or bird nest. It is the thing that freaks me out the most. There is a divot in my arm pit,

"Let's play golf."
