First part of surgery is complete

I just heard from Rig and Lex: The first part of the surgery (the mastectomy) is complete. Apparently it went very well. Preliminary reports suggest that there was no cancer in the left node, but that will have to be confirmed later this week. The reconstruction part of the surgery has commenced and will take 90 minutes or so.
